How To Inspect The Quality Of Power Fittings?

Electric power fittings are some special appliances for the power industry. Because of the particularity of the power industry, the power fittings used must have strict requirements in terms of appearance and performance. Let me tell you about several important things. How to check the quality of used parts?

* Copper and aluminum parts

1. The surface should be smooth, flat and clean;

2. The product must not have deficiencies such as flash, burrs, peeling, blistering, cracks, slag inclusion, stomata, trachoma, creasing, delamination, severe scratches, etc.;

3. There may be rounded corners at the edge of the casting hole;

4. The electrical contact surface must not have defects such as spots, scratches, pits, embossing, etc.;

* Cast iron

1. The appearance of cast iron should not have cracks and shrinkage;

2. Important parts must not have defects such as trachoma, pores, flash, burrs, etc.;

3. The diameter of non-important parts can have trachoma or pores less than 4mm and less than 1.5mm in depth;

4. If the non-important parts have trachoma or pores of the above-mentioned size, each piece shall not exceed two;

5. If there are trachoma or pores of the specified size for non-important parts, the distance between the two places shall not be less than 25mm;

6. If there are trachoma or pores of the specified size of non-important parts, the two positions cannot be the same corresponding position on the inner and outer surfaces;

7. If there are trachoma or pores of the specified size of non-important parts, the quality of galvanizing can not be reduced;

* Steel parts

1. The cutting, profiling and punching of steel parts must not have deficiencies such as flashing, cracking, and lamination;

2. If welding is required, there should be no defects such as cracks, pores, slag inclusions in the welding part;

3. The weld seam of the weldment should be fine, flat and scaly;

4. The weldment should be edge-sealed, and the depth of the undercut should not be greater than 1mm;

5. After gas cutting, chamfer and remove thorns, and the cutting surface should be even;

6. Forgings must not have defects such as over-burning, lamination, scale, local melting and oxidation;

* Fastener

It should be implemented in accordance with the "seven items in the general technical conditions of fittings".
