How to use high-voltage line insulators

Feb 03, 2021

Porcelain pull rod insulators for high-voltage lines are used on terminal tension and corner rods on overhead power lines of 10kV and below for insulation and fixing of wires. It can replace local butterfly-type porcelain insulators and disc-shaped suspension porcelain insulators. Rod-type porcelain insulators for electric railway contact nets, low-voltage line insulators.

Pin-type, butterfly-type, and shaft-type porcelain insulators for low-voltage lines: Pin-type porcelain insulators for low-voltage lines are used as insulation and fixing conductors in overhead power lines below 1kV. Low-voltage line butterfly-type porcelain insulators are used as insulation and fixed conductors on terminal, strain and corner poles of distribution lines. Low-voltage line shaft-type porcelain insulators for power supply and distribution line terminals.

The tensile and corner rods are used as insulation and fixing wires. Overhead line tension porcelain insulators: used for AC and DC overhead transmission and distribution lines and communication line terminal corners or large span poles to balance the tension on the poles for tension insulation and connection. Insulators for tram lines.

Used as insulation and tension wire for tram lines or as insulation and support for conductive parts on trams and power stations. Pin-type porcelain insulators for communication lines: used to insulate and fix wires in overhead communication lines. Wiring insulators: including drum insulators, porcelain splints and porcelain tubes. Used for low voltage wiring.
